2/9/19 “Set apart and Holy”

Today’s Deeply Rooted Devotion is from Leviticus 8-10.

Highlighted Verse(s):

Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord has spoken: I will demonstrate my holiness to those who are near me, and I will reveal my glory before all the people.” Leviticus 10:3

Devotion:

Reading the Lords guidelines for things like ordination of priests and sacrifices can seem strange. At least a little right? It’s important to remember that God is giving all of these instructions because He desires for His people to be set apart from the world. He leads us to be set apart and holy because He is set apart and holy. In these chapters there is a special distinction made between what is best for God’s people and what is not. As citizens of the Kingdom of God we are to live differently than citizens of this world. Is your life set apart? Out of love and devotion to Jesus are you pursuing Him?
